2011 Firehouse Expo, Baltimore, MD
FDNY members and their families are having a wonderful time sharing FFC CD's, newsletters and candy at their booth. They began this ministry in 2003. Once again the response from attendees has been great. Praise God for His promise in Isaiah 55:11!

Firefighters For Christ International Weekend
The Firefighters for Christ Weekend and Hume Lake Retreat took place on March 31- April 3, 2011. Our host and speaker for the event was Eric Simpson, a favorite close friend of Firefighters For Christ. His messages on authenic relationships greatly impacted those there. Jana Alayra also shared her testimony during the Ladies' Tea on Friday morning.

World Firefighter Games: August 23 - 30, 2010
Since 1992, Paul Steusel has been Firefighters For Christ International Ambassador to the World Firefighter Games and the World Police & Firefighter Games. He relates well with competitors from around the world. Last week in South Korea he was involved in giving away almost 2,000 FFC Cd's. Bringing home four more gold medals in Track and Field was an extra bonus. John White renewed his friendship with competitors he had met at previous Games. Pictured with John is a firefighter from Brazil, who asked John to pray for him during the Hong Kong Games in 2006. Again this year, John accepted his invitation to support and pray for him during his Toughest Firefighter Alive Event. He earned a Silver Medal. Firefighters are being encouraged to live their lives for Jesus Christ!

Monterrey Mission: August 1 - 8, 2010

Hume Lake Servants Week: May 10 - 13, 2010
FFC volunteers went to Hume Lake Christian Camps to prepare for another summer of ministry. The team of firefighters helped disassemble a fallen retaining wall and clean up the grounds from a winter of heavy snow damage.

Firefighters For Christ, International was contacted by Outreach Adventure Mexico to bring a team of firefighters to Monterrey, Mexico to do hands on training. Members of Los Angeles City’s newly formed FFC Chapter responded and watched God orchestrate His mission to reach firefighters for Christ.
FFC team members were given immediate rapport with the chief and fifty of his firefighters in the city of Guadalupe. After the fifth day of training, forty out of forty-three firefighters, who were present at the Gospel presentation, asked Jesus into their hearts. Some of the original fifty were on duty at another station. Their chief graciously hosted the team all week and was one of the forty who indicated he had received Jesus as his Savior. The team is grateful for all the prayer backing they had from firefighters around the world.
