Welcome To Firefighters For Christ International
TO LIVE THEIR LIVES FOR JESUS CHRIST
Members of Firefighters for Christ continued to help with the efforts at Hume Lake. Many of the team has returned home with the threat averted and news that the Hume Lake Staff will allowed to return home today. A report from the incident command stated that nothing they previously tried had stopped the fire... until it approached Hume Lake.
HUME LAKE CHRISTIAN CAMPS
An anniversary cake with lots more food was part of our Filipino brothers and sisters commemoration of their first anniversary as a chapter of Firefighters For Christ.2
Jude asked John White to send a video greeting to their chapter. John spoke to them from Colossians 1:2-11, asking God to fill them with the knowledge of His will through all wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so they may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might.

Past Hume Lake Staff and host of the Firefighters Retreat even joined in on the fun.
The team spent the day cleaning up the dead timber around the property as the fire threat continued to lessen. There were also many opportunities to interact and minister to those assigned to protect them camp. Jim Haney was kind enough to use his skills so the guys could take home a souvenir.
Sunday morning started with a chapel service open to those on the incident where John White presented the gospel message. One firefighter stood to receive Christ!
Victor Laveaga leading the worship time.
Of course the firefighters are praying too. John White brought devotions Friday morning.
Steffen Schwarz wrote: "It is almost midnight here in Germany. Still can't sleep and I continue to join in prayer for Hume! What an encouragement it was to the see the picture showing the firefighters praying. Felt like I was amongst them through Jesus Christ our Lord!" We are one in the bond of love when we join our spirit with the Spirit of God. 4
It's obvious the Lord wanted Bob Mull to be Hume Lake's Fire Chief for such a time as this.
FFC Bibles and tracts are available for all.
